World of Warcraft Warlock Guide
Warlock - The
Demonologist
A
Warlock is connected with the underworld. Using both Fire
and Shadow damage based spells and Demonic pets, the
Warlock class is a great class to play. The Warlock is
known for the nice amount of different Fear spells he can
cast, which makes his enemy run around incapable to make
any actions. Warlocks are known to be quite annoying in
PvP because of this. Besides that they also have a wide
variety of damage spells to nuke players and Demon pets
with annoying abilities. Basically, you can say that if
you like a spell casting class and enjoy PvP, the Warlock
is a great solution.
The Warlocks do not only excel at PvP though. Especially
since the release of the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, the
Warlock can be found on top of the damage meters in many raids.
Using a lot of damage over time spells, Shadow Bolts and Fire
based attacks; they can do a lot of damage. Their role in raids
however is not only dealing damage.

The Warlock is the only class that can summon other players
towards him. He does this with a ritual of summoning and needs
the assistance of another player to summon somebody from
anywhere on the map towards himself. This is very nice
especially for Dungeons and Raids because as you venture
further into the Dungeon or Raid you will save a lot of time by
just summoning a new player if somebody has to be replaced.
Instead of waiting for the player to travel there, or running
to the meeting stone outside the instance, summoning saves a
lot of time.
The Warlocks can also create a Soul stone on themselves or
on others. If a player is Soul Stoned he can resurrect on the
spot upon death. This is great when cast on players that can
resurrect. After everybody dies for example, the person
that can resurrect get’s up and resurrects the party or
raid.
Another spell the Warlock class can cast is the Summon
Health Stone spell. Health Stones restore more health to the
player than health potions and they do not share the same cool
down, meaning that you can use one of each in every fight. The
entire raid or party can obtain a Healthstone from the summoned
as well.
The cool aspect of the Warlock is the Demon pets he can
summon, he can choose between a Fireball casting, Stamina
boosting Imp, the Dispelling and Spell locking Fel Hound, the
Seducing and Whipping Succubus, and the Fel Guard that does a
lot of damage with his cleaves and is able to Charge. Different
pets are better in specific situations, luckily, the Warlocks
can choose which one to use at any point and switch freely
between them.
The Pets make the Warlock easy to level. Once he reaches his
level cap he has a wide variety of spells and abilities that
are destructive and can help a raid or party greatly. To get
