World of Warcraft Enchanting guide
Enchanting –
Improve your armor and weapons!
Enchanting is a great
profession for any class to choose. Why? Because you will
then have the ability to improve your own gear, sell
enchants to other players and, at a higher level, you will
be able to enchant your own rings. Ring enchants are only
available for enchanters themselves so this reason alone
makes Enchanting a great profession.
How does it work? First of all you need to learn the
Enchanting profession from an Enchanting trainer. These can be
found in all the major cities and in some smaller villages.
These trainers will teach you several different
Enchants. Once you train in Enchanting you will get
the Disenchant ability. With this ability you can Disenchant
green, blue and later purple gear. As a result you will gain
Essences, Dust, Shards and other materials. These materials are
needed in order to make the Enchants.

Once you pick up Enchanting you will notice that the
leveling actually isn’t that hard. Ok, you have to Disenchant
the green and blue items you find and receive so you can sell
them for gold, but it’s not that much of a problem. At a later
level however, getting the mats together for some Enchants is a
big pain because of the costs, etc.
You will need different Enchanting Rods which you
will have to make yourself. One of the materials needed is
the rod itself which can be made by blacksmiths. The other
parts are usually Enchanting materials or items that have to be
purchased from the Auction House (AH).
You can make quite a few different enchants and the strength
and variety of enchants of course increases as you gain skill
levels. There are of course Enchants for every class with every
talent build. For Tanks and PvP orientated people there are a
lot of enchants that give the enchanted armor additional
stamina. This is great because they will be able to withstand
extra damage. There are also enchants that benefit physical
damage dealer, meaning that they provide Attack Power,
Strength, Agility, and Critical Strike Rating among
others. Then you have the healers that also benefit greatly by
Enchanting their gear. You will be able to get extra mana
regeneration, spell power, intellect, and spirit among others
on your items which will increase your capability to heal
others. For the spell casting damage dealers there’s also the
variety of spell power, intellect, critical strike rating, and
hit rating among other enchants which will increase their
damage output.
All together you can say that Enchanting is actually great
for any class. First of all because you can enchant your
regular gear yourself so you don’t have to pay others to do it,
and secondly, others will pay you to enchant them! Finally you
can also Enchant your rings and this can only be done by the
Enchanter on his own rings which also makes it really
convenient. The only bad thing about Enchanting is that it is
so damned expensive. There are World of Warcraft Enchanting
guides out there however that will show you a lot of details
about how to level it up fast without paying too much gold, and
how to make a lot of gold out of it once you do hit the higher
levels and can sell great Enchants. You can check out my most
recommended guide that will cover everything you need to know
