World of Warcraft Druid Guide
Plenty of
Variety for Great Game Play
Any
player that has ever played the druid
class will tell you the same – you either love it or you
hate it. Druids are a specific hybrid class which, at
the first glance, might seem complicated but in fact will
bring you unlimited fun, constant change and a dynamic
style of game play.
While in travel form on the shore or in aqua form in water,
you will always be faster than your friends. Not to
mention that you could dive freely without the need of a
special underwater-breathing potion. You will be stronger while
in bear form and you could always go stealth while in cat form.
When everybody else will wait until level 70 to get a
flying mount you will already be cruising freely in
your flight form at level 68. Not to mention that it is
instant!

When it comes to the druid talent tree, there are three
different builds a druid could play - Balance, Feral Combat and
Restoration. For leveling it is always best to go Feral even
though Balance could also be nice if you prefer
casting over melee. Balance druids are called Moonkins because
of their Moonkin and Imoproved Moonkin Form talents. It is also
a form that a druid could shapeshift into and while in it
he/she will boost the whole group with a 5% bonus of the
critical strike rating. Moonkins are highly favored by the dps
casters but also by healers. Moonkins are also used in PVP but
the talent builds of a PVP moonkin differs from the PVE
one.
Feral Combat is a combination of tank/melee dps talents.
While in Dire Bear form a druid is capable to be a good tank
and with good gear his health points can be unreachable by the
warrior, paladin or DK tanks. While in cat form a druid
resembles the like of a rogue. Shreds from behind and
ability to go stealth. Being a melee dps, a druid can easy
reach any rogue, hunter or a caster on the dps list. When it
comes to PVP, Feral Combat druid could be good but not superb
so you will mostly see either resto or balance druids playing
PVP.
Restoration druids aka Resto druids aka “The Three” are also
fun to play and are said to be really good healers. Their
healing form is a form of a treant, a tree-looking creature.
They heal mostly with HOTs – Healing Over Time spells and
instant spells and could be life savers when it comes to
complicated boss fights or raids. When it comes to PVP, Resto
druids are excellent! It is because their instant heals and
endless mana regeneration which is based on their overall
spirit and also the ability every druid has – to move fast and
be stealthed.
Armor sets for druids vary on their build. For balance
druids more Hit, Crit and Haste rating, Spirit and Intellect is
needed for Feral Combat druids more Hit and Crit rating,
Agility, Strength and Stamina are a must, and for Resto druids
Spirit is what counts! A druid wears leather and can also wear
cloth which isn’t really recommended. Resto and Balance druids
could benefit from a piece or two of cloth armor since the
armor value doesn’t really count for them since they shouldn’t
be in close combat while in PVE. For Feral Combat druids it is
of the essence to have the strongest armor possible, especially
if you choose to be a tank. Armor value counts greatly. When it
comes to the PVP, the stronger the armor the better and what
you should be looking for is more Stamina and Resilience. To
