Professions

Getting gold by means of your professions will take little longer than grinding but it can more intriguing than just grinding over and over again.
All professions can make money, but your best bets for making gold are going to be in the professions of:

-skinning
-leatherworking
-blacksmithing

There are also secondary professions such as fishing that will earn you gold as well, but in order to utilize this approach you will need to have the primary cooking skill if you want to make as much money as you can from it. Another profession thats good for making gold is Alchemy. But if you're going to use Alchemy to make gold then you are going to have to invest time in gathering the necessary items or buy them. Starting out your first time I highly recommend skinning and blacksmithing as your choice. Both of these do well when using the flipping method.

If you're going to take the profession route to make gold let me tell you that you are going to need to have to first spend time increasing your skills. This may or may not take you away from getting your quests done, so try and get a good balance between the two. It would be worth you're while to work towards getting a skill level of over 300, but it is going to require time and patience on your part. Once your up at this level the money you make will more than pay off for all the work you put in.
